Meditate Madison Studio

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a serene, safe, and welcoming space where students can explore various methods of meditation and mindfulness to develop their own personal meditation practice. We also believe that we are here to assist students in healing the body, mind, and spirit. We assist students on their journey to inner peace step by step. Through the transformation that meditation bestows, students can create a calm and peaceful mind, an open and compassionate heart, and a feeling of self-acceptance in their lives.

Yoga is the practice of creating unity between mind and body. When there’s a disconnect between mind and body, our lives move out of balance, causing stress, fatigue and ultimately, illness. When you unify your mind and body through yoga, the reverse occurs. At our studio, we offer yoga classes to help every body, no matter the size or shape allowing you to tune in to what you need.

In meditation, healing can happen. When the mind is calm, alert and totally contented, then it is like a laser beam – it is very powerful and healing can happen. At Meditate Madison, we offer varied methods of meditation and mindfulness. We also offer Sound Healing through the performance of the singing bowls. Walking meditations and inspiring films help us to strengthen the journey.

Healing our spirit comes when we embrace our connection to our Higher Power. In the desire of the love, the light, and the truth, we can transform through various practices that raise our vibration and bless our being. We can finally experience feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. At our studio, we embrace spiritual healing and self-improvement through various methods.

Introducing Sarah Kangas

Learn more about Sarah Kangas and her Yoga classes.

As a lifelong learner, I appreciate learning various meditation techniques. I am open to new and exciting approaches to a practice that has graced my life since the age of 16.
I hope to continue to inspire others to embrace sitting on the cushion and taking the time for peace. I know from just teaching my spiritual classes that there is a desperate need right now for a calmer way to live in our seemingly chaotic world. I have had many tragedies in my personal life, and I know meditation is what continued to help me to heal over the years. I am committed to assisting you in bringing the same transformation into your life so you may experience a steady calm and sense of peace.
Additionally, I will introduce you to other healing arts practitioners on our team (Yoga, Reiki, Spiritual, and others) who will enhance your life with their gifts.

I wish I knew about Chair Yoga when I was so very ill a few years ago. I was devastated that I could do my yoga practice and could only manage a very short time on the mat. Chair Yoga would have helped me immensely. Now that I have been [Read more…]

Have Questions?

I've always said that lovingkindness and compassion are inevitably woven through meditation practice even if the words are never used or implied, no matter what technique or method we are using.
