NEW FORMAT FOR FALL 2018
This drop-in class with monthly themes provides various pathways one can use for their meditation practice. This comes from the idea, “The best meditation is the meditation that works for you, at this stage in your life.” Two techniques will be presented each week.
At times we will look at the idea of how we can apply visualization and at other times mindfulness. Sometimes our meditation experiences will be focused on loving-kindness or enhanced with singing bowls used for relaxation. Techniques may include: walking meditation with our portable labyrinth, Chakra meditation, mantra meditation, spiritual meditation, breath-focused meditation, guided meditation, contemplation, self-inquiry and “I Am” meditation, journal meditation, inner vision and more.
These classes provide meditation instruction from a variety of traditions. (60 minutes)
Recommended: Anyone, especially Beginners
$35 for 4 weeks or $10 weekly
You can bring a meditation cushion if you choose, or you can easily sit in a chair for the meditation. Dress comfortably and you can bring a pillow for your back if feel you need to do so while sitting in a chair.
